Centre County 911 alerted Rescue Box 211 for a reported vehicle accident at the 700 Block of Willowbank Street in Spring Township. Department Chief 5600 (Bruno) arrived on the scene and advised two vehicles off the roadway with one minor injury. Chief Bruno held the box to E-212 and EMS. Units cleared 1440 hours.

Centre County 911 alerted Fire Box 225 for a report of a Vehicle Accident with Injuries at Zion Road and State Route 26 in Spring Township. Captain 191 (Persic) arrived on the scene advising two vehicles on the roadway blocking on lane of traffic with one minor injury out of the vehicle. Captain Persic held the box to E-212 and Brush 225. Captain Persic placed Box 225 in service at 1636 hours.

Centre County 911 alerted Fire Box 1410 for a reported Kitchen Fire at 142 Cantolina Lane in Howard Township, requesting Ladder 217 on the box. Chief 1400 (Mann) called responding and was advised by 911 staff that they had received another call from the home owner advising the fire may be out. Chief Mann arrived on the scene and advised the fire was out holding the box to Company 14 units only. Chief Mann placed Ladder 217 in service at 1207 hours.

While patrolling the Arts/Craft Fair tents, Fire Police Captain 170 (Riglin) heard a Fire Alarm sounding at 124 1/2 West High Street in Bellefonte. Chief 103 (Shreffler) arrived on the scene and found nothing showing. The Truck Crew staged on side Alpha with tools in hand waiting for the key holder to arrive. Building Management arrived and the interior was checked. Units found a faulty smoke head on the second floor. Command placed box 5610 in service at 0109 hours.

The Bellefonte Fire Police assisted the Bellefonte Police Department with security for the Bellefonte Arts/Craft Fair. Units provided security from 2216 hours to 0919 hours on Saturday morning.

Centre County 911 alerted Local Box 111 for a report of a tree down blocking the roadway at the request of the Pennsylvania State Police. Captain 292 (Lose) arrived on the scene and held the box to Brush 125, 225 and Fire Police. The crew from the Brush Unit cleared the tree from the roadway. Captain Lose placed Box 111 in service at 2309 hours.

Centre County 911 alerted Fire Box 5610 for an Automatic Fire Alarm at 124 1/2 West High Street in Bellefonte. The Bellefonte Police Department arrived on the scene and advised of a false alarm, requesting the Fire Department to cancel. Department Chief 5600 (Bruno) placed Box 5610 in service at 1305 hours.

Monday, August 9, 2010 1511 hours
Centre County 911 alerted E-210 and Tanker 219 for Fire Box 1490 for a report of a working dwelling fire at 2711 Old 220 Road in Howard Township. Chief 1406 (Penland) arrived to the scene and confirmed a working fire in a Mobile home assuming Old 220 Command on Fire 2. Chief Penland requested R/E-914 to lay a supply line from the drive way to the hydrant 300' away and E-210 to take the drive way and advance (2) 1.75' hand lines. The Engine Crew advanced both lines on the fire and conducted a primary and secondary search. Command placed Bellefonte Fire Units in service at 1623 hours.
