Sunday, August 8, 2010 2233 hours Centre County 911 alerted Rescue Box 914 for a vehicle accident with entrapment in front of the Ramada Inn 900 North Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township. Company 9 units were out of service due to their annual company picnic, thus bringing the Bellefonte Fire Department on the box. Chief 202 (Baney) arrived on the scene at 2236 hours. Chief Baney found (2) vehicles with heavy damage and no entrapment or injuries. The Pennsylvania State Police were already on the scene and advised there was no need for Fire or EMS. Chief Baney placed Rescue Box 914 in service at 2238 hours.

Sunday, August 8, 2010 1433 hours Centre County 911 alerted Fire Box 231 for an Automatic Fire Alarm at Restek 110 Benner Circle in Benner Township. Prior to paging the Fire Department the alarm company had called to cancel the alarm.

Sunday, August 8, 2010 1413 hours Members from the Logan Fire Company were on Stand-By in quarters for Company 9 for the day and heard EMS being alerted for a Medical Emergency at 211 Decatur Street in Bellefonte. The members responded to the scene and assisted with patient care until the arrival of EMS.

Sunday, August 8, 2010 0046 hours Centre County 911 alerted Tanker 219 for Fire Box 403 for a report of a Building Fire at the Meadow Psychiatric Center, 132 The Meadows Drive in Potter Township. Chief 403 arrived on the scene and reported a fire in a wall mounted heater, holding the box to Company 4 units only. Tanker 219 cleared at 0116 hours.
